Samsung's 20-Megapixel Bridge Camera WB110 with 26X Optical Zoom


South Korean consumer electronics major, Samsung has unveiled the next-generation WB-series bridge camera WB110 with 20 megapixel, a notch up from its predecessor WB100 which sports 16.0 megapixel resolution.  The new camera boasts of 22.3 mm ultra wide angle lens with 26x digital zoom which can capture 720p HD videos. The camera also comes with 'Smart Auto' feature which helps photographers to change from still-image capture mode to movie settings options with ease. Live Panorama mode helps take continuous long panoramic shots and allows users to pre-view picture live on the screen by just holding shutter-button and sliding across the scene.
Samsung WB110 sports 3.0-inch hVGA LCD screen which has the option to automatically select the optimal light level to display images and play back videos according to the environment around the photographer.
The company has revealed only the internal specs of the new camera. Other details like the price and date of availability in the global markets is still under wraps.
